+ nostalgic Outrun-like gameplay + pretty fast and smooth graphics - steering doesnt feel precise, no matter if you tilt or touch to steer - tilting horizon (which can be disabled) doesnt tilt smoothly and reacts too slow Ideas: How about an 8bit/16bit console look-alike graphics mode? The current high res 2D graphics arent that pretty to be honest.

Why it is a Classic Game because Nokia had it on they First mobile phone

Great homage to the classic OutRun series. 8bit fonts and music and everything. Easy to pick up and play. Super frame rate, even on old hardware (2nd Gen iPod Touch). Custom controls, support for iPod music coming in future updates. Great timekiller.

Needs more different cars!!!

I love the old Sega "Out Run". Ive been waiting forever for a game like this in app-form. Havent played with it very long but am lovin it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! How about an "Outrunners" experience next???

Great game for the price. Very good value. Very close to the original outrun. Would like to see the car flip and crash instead of just slowing down though. Very happy to have bought this !!

Its just what I was lookin for the classic arcade game now on my iPod and I got it for free you must get it!!!!!!

PLEASE MAKE A UPDATE THE UPDATE SHOULD HAVE A GAS LIMIT SO IF U ARE LOW ON GAS YOU CAN GET MORE OR IF YOU FINISH OUT OF GAS

This is an okay app but it is not,NOT worth 99 cents ( or at least it was 99 cent when I got it). All you do is press a button when you want to go and tilt your iPad when you want to turn. I played it once and Ive never played it again in the 3 or 4 months Ive had it. this is a warning, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Final Freeway is an Arcade Racing Game that brings breakneck speeds from The Past Generation of Arcade gaming into our Modern World. It is an absolute joy to play, and revisit the old arcade days of my early childhood. It feels like the high octane racer it is, with satisfying gameplay making it a joy to play overall. It includes the beautiful bit-type graphics that run very smoothly on older generation devices and obviously the latest devices. It features very intuitive controls, with tilt to steer or onscreen buttons. As you progress your speed gradually increases making it a thrill of a ride. It makes you want to come back for more and never put the game down. It requires skill to handle these breakneck speeds though, as obstacles such as traffic and sidewalk ornaments including trees are in your way. Of course, it is all based on the thrill of the time trial operative. You are timed, so you want to maintain your speed, and avoid hitting anything in your path. The absolute consequence of hitting an object is abrupt slow down, adding up those minutes o your lap time. But best of all, it includes Game Center Integration, featuring Game Center Leader boards and Achievements, to score yourself some bragging rights and prove your legacy. This game features the Ferrari F40 (or so it seems) as your car, but I wish that there were a few other cars you could earn. But nonetheless, this is simply a request, thus it cannot knock down a star. What is missing is more game modes. The game is quite short if you are skilled in racing games as there are a total of 5 events, somewhat long, but fun. If you are a good racer, then the game will feel a bit short, but you are rewarded with trying to conquer the leader boards. Also, dont expect any level updates as Final Freeway 2R (The next iteration of Final Freeway) is out. It has not received level updates so far, and I would love to see some. Even if it is an outdated title, it would be great to get some extra modes to play. Realistically, not all of us are trying to climb the leader boards, and there are only 4 Achievements. So all in all, its one of the best Arcade Racers Ive seen, but I wish there was more to enjoy. This Title receives 4 Stars for its ultimate gameplay, and feel, making you want to come back for more, but suffers because the more isnt there.

If your a fan of the arcade game "Outrun" then this is an instant buy

For anyone who remembers and loves OutRun, this is a blast. Not as slick or deep as Real Racing, but really fast! And I love the retro, scaling 3D.

This game is super - different modes, and I dont find any faults playing. Only $99 cents - well worth it.

This is a shallow but fun racing game. It is a lot like Outrun, but without the drifts or the different cars. The animation is not that great, but the graphics are still nice. I cant seem to get the soundtrack to work my iPad2.
